A New Name and a New Look - July 20, 2007

There's a big change happening here at Lismore Challenge. We now have a new name and a fresh new look. From 1st July 2007 our range of business and client services will be known as Multitask.

We chose the name because it's a simple way to convey what we do. We offer a range of services from our various programs as follows: thru our Federal funded supported employment programs we offer packaging and labelling for local businesses, nursery supplies and commercial landscaping as well as specialty soap making - all of this from our Caldwell Avenue Site. Our State funded services delivered from Molesworth Street and our Supported Accommodation Services provide day services, residential support, life-skills training, transition to work programs plus individual client services.

We continue to follow the Lismore Challenge 50 year old tradition to support and hopefully meet the needs of our Community through flexible and innovate programs. Our commitment to quality outcomes for people with a disability will continue to be our core value.

We have also invested significantly in the redevelopment of our new Wing at Molesworth Street. This new area will be completed by July and will see up to 35 clients enjoy quality day service programs in an environment that is bright and welcoming. It is expected that the official opening will occur in early August.

All of these changes have been exciting although challenging as we carve a pathway into the next 50 years of proving services to people with a disability.
